Aforyouth is a community based youth organization which helps students & young professionals to pursue & polish their passions. Not only we edify these novices, but we also provide them with work opportunities so that they can learn & earn concurrently.

WHO we are & WHY we have founded Aforyouth?

Back in our university days, we realized how messed up our academic, youth leadership & professional ecosystem is. Students are never allowed to pursue their passions as their avocation or actual career line (Thanks to our societal stigmas), they don’t get decent work opportunities during their academic journey (to partially sponsor their own expenses) & usually they are not groomed or polished in extracurricular skills (which are essential for a resource to succeed & stand out in today’s professional spectrum). To top it all off, Students in Pakistan are also deprived of good networking opportunities as there is no system or organization in place to bridge the gap between different institutes, promote cross university dialogue & incubate ideas. So we decided to fix all of this and founded AClan aka AlooClan in 2013. Via its campus ambassadorship program, we provided students many work and networking opportunities where they worked remotely within small diverse teams from different institutes and made some quick buck. To put things in perspective, we have affected the lives of 350+ students so far by providing them with paid, remote jobs of worth PKR 20 Million+. All this served as a good MVP and helped us understand the problem in hand in a much elaborated manner. In 2017 we got a little more ambitious and decided to revolutionize how the youth of this country nurtures, altogether. So we are ditching our usual Campus Ambassadorship program & initiating something better, bigger & more dynamic i.e. AforYouth.

HOW are we planning to revolutionize the way the youth of our era nurtures?

Well, we will do what we have been doing for the past 4 years i.e. provide young professionals specially students with networking & work opportunities, so that they can polish their skills or pursue their passions. However, this time we will do all this with a different flavor and an entirely new approach.

WHAT is the new approach and what will we do different with Aforyouth?

We will not only connect youth with other like-minded people (or businesses) but will also TRAIN them to make the most out of these opportunities. We will conduct nationwide workshops, skill centered trainings & year round boot camps in which we will invite local and international trainers to up-skill the participants. Moreover, we will bridge the gap between different academic institutes by organizing intra and inter university competitions covering all extra-curricular domains i.e. Sports, Literary gigs, Music and Performing arts etc. with the help of our support partners and Aforyouth local leaders.
